Following Jesus - Different Cultural Styles September 13, 2017
Date: September 13, 2017
Join Indigenous Pathways and Sioux Falls Seminary for presentations and discussions centered around following Jesus without conforming to the dominant culture’s definition of worship and spirituality. Bring your stories of ministry, spirituality, and life following Jesus. You’ll gain an awareness of what following Jesus looks like (or may look like) in a Native American cultural context, experience contextual spirituality, and discover and develop practical methods and approaches to ministry that are culturally appropriate.
Who Should Attend?
Native Americans, Native Americans involved in ministry with Native Americans, Non-Natives involved in ministry with Native Americans, and anyone with a desire to understand the way culture has shaped our understanding of worship, or individuals with a passion for seeing God glorified and lives shaped through worship.
Cost (includes lunch on Thursday):
$120 - Through September 1
$135 - September 2-13
