Online  I  In Context

Sioux Falls Seminary has a growing number of students who participate in theological education from a distance.  This is due, in large part, to the Kairos philosophy of education and the Kairos Project track.  Kairos Project students walk alongside a mentor team and in community with fellow students.  Their journey of theological education is integrated into the various aspects of their life (home, work, church, etc.), and learning is facilitated through contextually-integrated educational moments and adaptable assignments.   As a result, the student’s context is an integral part of their journey and the way in which learning and development takes place.

Learning at a distance is enhanced through the seminary’s Internet-based learning environment that utilizes the latest technology to capture classroom lectures and multimedia resources as well as to provide a platform for video conferencing and online discussions.  Contact our enrollment team to find out more about flexible learning or click here to learn about distance learning.
