biography

A native of North Dakota, Cory Seibel is a member of the pastoral team at Central Baptist Church in Edmonton, Alberta.  He previously served as a full-time faculty member at Sioux Falls Seminary from 2005-2008 and returned to the institution as an affiliate professor in the fall of 2015.  He has also served churches in North Dakota and Virginia and held the position of Assistant Professor Pastoral Ministries at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary, Fresno, CA, from 2008-2013.

Cory completed advanced education in practical theology through Spurgeon’s College in the UK and the University of Pretoria in South Africa.  Today, he strives to be a thoughtful, passionate advocate for intergenerational ministry.  He desires to encourage and equip followers of Jesus to build extraordinary communities of faith where people of all generations share life together.  Cory invests his skills as researcher, writer, and presenter to advance a creative, constructive vision of intergenerational ministry in today’s church.

Cory serves on the Alberta Baptist Association’s Leadership Development Team and the King’s University Board of Governors. In his spare time, he is an avid reader. Together with his wife and daughter, he enjoys taking advantage of Edmonton’s natural and cultural bounty.
