J. Brent Walker to Speak on Religious Liberty on Wednesday, May 4

Sioux Falls Seminary is pleased to announce that J. Brent Walker, Executive Director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty, will speak at chapel on Wednesday, May 4, at 11:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Walker's message, "Christians: Fight like Heaven!" will focus on Matthew Chapter 5 verses 1-2, 21-22, 33-37, 43-45.

In addition to Walker's role at the Baptist Joint Committee, he is also both a member of the Supreme Court Bar and an ordained minister. Walker has been widely published and routinely provides commentary on church-state issues in the national media. He has been quoted by numerous national publications and has appeared on CNN's Talk Back Live, NBC's Today Show, MSNBC, Fox Morning News, Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor and National Public Radio's Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Also, Walker is a panelist for The Washington Post and Newsweek's online project "On Faith," a conversation on religion and its implications.
