In Trust Magazine Addresses Change in Theological Education

In Trust Magazine recently invited incoming President Greg Henson and Generosity Monk's Gary Hoag to collaborate on a series of three articles to “assist trustees and administrators in understanding the rapidly changing theological education environment.”  The first two articles have appeared in the Autumn 2013 and New Year 2014 issues of In Trust Magazine and the final article will follow in Spring 2014 issue.

“More Schools, Fewer Students: What’s your seminary’s position in the changing market of theological education?”
This first article takes a look at the changes occurring within theological education today and includes aggregate data from the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada member institutions.  Read it here.

“Charitable Giving and Your Seminary: As you reach out across multiple platforms, you increase participation and giving"
This second piece touches on the difficulty of resource development for seminaries and offer some new methods for schools to consider.  Read it here.

This third and final piece in the series offers examples of several best practices for gathering support.
