150th Year of Celebration to Begin with Commencement Services in May

Sioux Falls Seminary is in its 150th year of ministry. To honor this historic event, a year of celebration will begin on Saturday, May 24, 2008, with the seminary's 150th Commencement Service at Central Baptist Church in Sioux Falls at 2:00 p.m.
The year of celebration will continue throughout the 2008-2009 academic year and conclude with an all-school reunion on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, leading up to the NAB Triennial Conference.
Other events planned for the year of celebration, which has been themed "Celebrating God's Faithfulness: 150 Years of Equipping Servant Leaders," include:
� Publishing of a Sioux Falls Seminary sesquicentennial cookbook,
� Offering a series of Founder�s Chapels that will take place throughout the 2008-2009 academic year,
� Welcoming Sioux Falls Seminary alumni from the academic field to teach the offerings for January Term 2009,
� Providing hard hat tours of the new campus to seminary friends and community members in the spring of 2009,
� Hosting an all-school reunion and open house for the new seminary campus in July 2009, and
� Dedicating the new campus with the seminary Board of Trustees in October 2009.
