Position summary:
Primarily responsible for managing the overall financial and ministry support activities of the International Office under the guidance of the Executive Director.

Qualifications required:
• Certified Public Accountant with non-profit experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

• Administrative and budgeting skills Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Responsible for development and implementation of annual budget, with decision making authority on budgetary issues

• Plans and prioritizes cash flow to ensure the organization meets is financial obligations in a timely and prudent manner

• Advises the Executive Director regarding the financial stability of NAB

• Presents financial reports to the Executive Team and members of the Executive Committee and General Council

• Provides cost allocation and joint cost allocation documentation during the year and for audit process

• Reviews Grant-in-Aid applications and makes recommendations to Executive Team

• Provides leadership, oversight and supervision of the Ministry Support department

• Supports NAB mission fields by initiating monthly transfer of funds, providing financial expertise and training to ensure utmost accountability and stewardship of mission funds

• Serves as a key member of the NAB Investment Committee • Oversees annual financial audit

• Oversees IT needs of the organization and coordinates fulfillment with IT contractor

• Represents NAB at regional events as assigned • Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director Success factors/job competencies: • Analytical and detailed financial skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
