Flexible Learning Options
Sioux Falls Seminary offers personalized and flexible learning options to all of our students in addition to our Distance Learning Option programs.

Helpful especially for students commuting from a distance or working while attending seminary, our flexible options include online courses, audio/video courses through the Institute of Theological Studies, independent studies, and internships. Distance Learning Options
In addition to offering a limited number of courses online each semester, Sioux Falls Seminary has Distance Learning Options for the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership and the Master of Divinity.  These programs are designed for students who are serving full time in a ministry context, for those who cannot commit to a traditional residential program, and for those who cannot relocate to Sioux Falls.  The Distance Learning Options maximize the use of online courses and short-term intensives.  Click here to learn more about Distance Learning Options.

Houses of Study Concept
In addition to its North American Baptist (NAB) students, the seminary's student body has long included men and women from a variety of traditions. In an effort to smooth the path to ordination for these students, Sioux Falls Seminary recently committed to a "house of study" approach. This concept is a program of student services which offers enhanced support to students and provides a mechanism for communication with their denominational bodies concerning courses and requirements.

In the fall of 2006, Sioux Falls Seminary introduced two "houses" of study: the Luther House of Study and the Wesley House of Study. Plans for a Reformed House of Study are in the near future.
