Financial Aid

The road to graduate theological education is usually one of personal sacrifice and commitment. We realize the cost of quality education is an important issue at this point in your decision making. We understand that it will take true commitment to God's call and faith in His abounding blessing in order to accurately count the cost and measure the value of the comprehensive educational experience that you will encounter at SFS.

Choosing to attend seminary certainly has financial implications. Sioux Falls Seminary is committed to helping you finance your education. Do you remember the financial aid process of your undergraduate education? Many of the same options are also available through federal aid including Stafford Loans and work-study. Institutional grants and scholarships are provided to qualified students based on need, merit, and availability.

Sioux Falls Seminary makes a determined effort to see that no student who qualifies for admission to a degree program is denied opportunity to engage in theological education because of a lack of funds. Through grants, scholarships, and a student's own resources, the seminary seeks to help students find a balanced approach to pay for their education.
